ABOUT ABBY
I’m a certified Experienced Yoga Teacher (E-RYT200) with Yoga Alliance based in the beautiful town of Langebaan in the Western Cape, South Africa. I am originally from South Africa but have lived and worked in 5 countries, spending the last 15 years in Hong Kong. I have an amazingly supportive, adventurous and fun husband as well as two fantastic teenage sons. I’ve been a personal and group fitness trainer since 2009 and have only in the last 3 years discovered yoga and it’s benefits. It has literally healed me. I became very ill in 2015 and started yoga to slow myself down and heal, it did way more than that for me. I’ve been lucky to learn from wise and inspiring individuals in both Hong Kong and Thailand. Having the chance to share those lessons and experiences with my students fills me with joy. Everyone could use more yoga in their lives, so I hope to see you on the mat soon.

Flow, Float and Savasana on Water
Your mat is a floating yoga board; the world is your studio and all the elements have been invited – sun, wind, and water. Enjoy learning while adapting to the motion of the board, the continuous challenge to balance, the constant instability created by minor energy and weight shifts, and the focus required to stay grounded while afloat. On the water we learn to flow and enjoy the ride! Classes are weather dependent so contact me for details on the next scheduled class or if you'd like a private group class, contact me to book.
Ground and Relax
Prenatal Yoga is suitable for each trimester. Every exercise is aimed at helping expectant moms better support the growing baby, alleviating lower back pain, toning the pelvic floor muscles in preparation for delivery (and aid in recovery), improving posture and developing an awareness of deep breathing to assist movement, among many other benefits.
